Construction employment stable in May

Construction employment in the Greater Cincinnati area remained stable last month.

The Cincinnati metropolitan statistical area had the same number of construction jobs, 36,700, as it did last May, according to an analysis of federal data by the Associated General Contractors of America. Construction employment rose nearly 4.3 percent from April, when there were 35,200 jobs.
