Meridian Bioscience's European president retires

Antonio Interno, president and managing director of Meridian Bioscience Inc.'s European operations, has retired from the company, effective March 31.
Interno had been with the company for 21 years, working to grow Meridian Bioscience Europe into a $20 million business unit.
According to a filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission, terms of Interno's retirement include a payment of about $770,000, which represents an amount equal to two times his annual salary.
